Manage Subscriptions

Managing your PolicyCON subscription is simple and user-friendly. Everything can be done through your online account dashboard, so you’re always in control. Here are some common subscription management tasks and how to handle them:

  • Upgrading or Changing Your Plan: If you decide to switch to a different plan (for example, from Monthly to Annual, or to a Team plan), you can do this in your account settings. Simply navigate to the Subscription section and select “Change Plan.” You’ll see options for available plans and any price difference. If you upgrade, the change is usually immediate and a prorated charge (adjusted for what you’ve already paid) may apply. If you downgrade (say from Annual to Monthly), the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period to ensure you get what you’ve paid for.
  • Updating Payment Details: To update your credit/debit card or payment method on file, go to the Billing or Payment Method section of your account. There you can add a new card or update existing information (such as a new expiry date). Our system uses secure encryption for all financial data. After updating, all future payments will be taken from the new method. You can also view past invoices or receipts in this section.
  • Cancelling Your Subscription: We’d hate to see you go, but if you need to cancel, the option is available under Subscription settings as well. Click “Cancel Subscription” and follow the prompts. For monthly plans, cancellation will stop the auto-renewal and you’ll retain access until the end of the current paid month. For annual plans, you will retain access until your year is up. We do not believe in lock-in or hidden hurdles, so the process is straightforward. You’ll receive an email confirming the cancellation. (If you change your mind, you can always reactivate before your access expires by choosing a plan again.)
  • Pausing (if available): We understand life gets busy. If you’d rather take a short break instead of cancelling outright, we offer a pause option for some plans. This allows you to temporarily suspend your subscription for a cycle. During a pause, you won’t be billed and you won’t have access to subscriber content, but your account data (like saved articles and preferences) remains intact. You can resume your subscription anytime.
  • Renewals and Reminders: All subscriptions auto-renew by default to ensure uninterrupted access. Monthly plans renew each month on the date of purchase; annual plans renew on the anniversary date. We send friendly reminder emails ahead of annual renewals. If you prefer to not auto-renew, you can turn off auto-renewal in your settings after subscribing. You will still keep access for the period you paid for, but your plan will not renew unless you manually resubscribe.
  • Contacting Support: If you encounter any issues – for example, trouble changing a plan or a billing question – our support team is here to help. You can reach out via our Contact Support page or email. We aim to respond promptly and resolve any problems, so you can get back to focusing on the content.

All these tools ensure that your experience remains in your hands. At PolicyCON, we want the subscription process to be as transparent and flexible as the content you read. No lengthy phone calls or fine-print obstacles – just straightforward, human-centred options to manage your membership. Your account dashboard provides real-time updates on your subscription status, next billing date, and more, so you’re never in the dark. Enjoy peace of mind knowing you can adjust your subscription whenever you need to, hassle-free.
