Preview

The Executive Order (E.O.) is a directive for United States (U.S.) government departments and agencies to focus on growing the U.S. economy and maintaining jobs for U.S. citizens while being a leader "in global efforts to protect the environment". The E.O. emphasises promoting economic prosperity, consumer choice, and fiscal restraint.

The U.S. has with immediate effect withdrawn from the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and any other similar pacts, agreements, accords, and commitments under UNFCCC. It also revoked and rescinded its U.S. International Climate Finance Plan and, in 30 days, will revock and rescind all policies that advance this plan.
